What’s Included in your full service photography experience?
1: Consultation
Your family is unique so your session should be too! I want to hear all about your personal style and preferences. Well discuss your vision so I can create something custom just for you.
2: The Session
The studio is full of outfits, props, and accessories so you don’t need to provide anything. I’ll have everything laid out and ready to go before you arrive. Just sit back and watch me work my magic!
3: Reveal & Ordering
After your session we’ll sit down and sort through the best images together. We can look at designing a custom album or creating wall art to tell your story. All collections include digital images and printed products!
4. Expert Retouching
Once you’ve finalized your favorites, we will artistically retouch each image you’ve chosen. Every image will be tastefully enhanced to become a work of art.
5. Finished Product
Your prints and products will be ordered and the matching digital images will be available to download within two weeks. When your artwork arrives we will arrange pick up or delivery.
FAQ’S
When Should I Book My Milestone Session?
My favorite milestones to capture is the Sitting Stage! This session usually takes place between 6-7 months. Other favorites are Smiles (3 months) and Crawling (9 months). My schedule fills quickly so please contact me 1-2 months weeks before your ideal session date. I do take last minute requests as often as my schedule allows.
How Old Should My Baby Be For Portraits?
There is no wrong age for milestone portraits! Each stage is unique and worth capturing. For first big smiles I recommend around 3 months. When our goal is capturing baby sitting alone unsupported with those chunky rolls, 6-7 months is ideal. Giggles and personality really shine around 9 months.
How Long Will My Milestone Session Last?
Each session is different due to the individuality of the baby but plan for the session to last about 1 hour. This will give us plenty of time for posing as baby sees fit.
What Should We Wear For Family Portraits?
Solid neutrals are always a safe bet and photograph best. I love to use white, cream, or soft pastels against a light backdrop or grays and blacks on a darker backdrop. Think about your personal and home style to ensure your images coordinate with your decor. Luxury studio gowns are available for both Mom & girl siblings. I’d be happy to discuss this more during our consultation.
What Should My Baby Wear?
My studio is packed full of tons of adorable dresses, rompers, and accessories. I have so many options for you to choose from and I’ll gladly pull some options from my collection that align with your preferences. You are absolutely welcome to bring a favorite outfit from home as well. I love soft textures and timeless pieces that draw attention to your baby’s personality.
What Do I Need to Bring?
Not much! My studio provides everything so you’ll just need to bring baby 🙂 After you book I’ll send you a comprehensive guide to help you and baby get ready for our session. It includes simple tips for preparing for our time together along with a short list of things to bring with you.
How Do I Choose My Images?
This is the best part! After your session we’ll sit down together and review your images. I’ll guide you through the process of choosing your favorites. From there we can decide on a beautiful wall art piece, create a custom album, or design a unique image collage. For your convenience, all printed images come with the matching digital files. There are so many gorgeous ways to display your images and I can’t wait to show them to you.
How Much Does This Cost?
A retainer fee is due at booking to reserve your date. This covers the 1 hour session in studio and the use of gowns and accessories. We’ll look through your images either immediately after the session or at a seperate appointment within the next week. This is when you will choose your favorite images.
As a luxury photography studio, all packages include beautiful heirloom products, such as albums, canvases, and framed prints as well as digital images.
