The Milestone Portrait Experience

Baby milestone sessions capture all the little moments between your newborn and cake smash sessions. From their first smiles and first little tooth, to learning to sit, crawl, then walk; babies grow so fast and I want to help you remember every stage.

Milestone sessions generally last about 1 hour depending on how your baby warms up. We’ll take our time so I can be sure to capture the most genuine expressions. My studio is stocked with lots of fun props, accessories, and adorable outfits of all sizes for your little one to wear. Of course you are absolutely welcome to bring your own favorites as well!

Your Milestone Session Includes:

  • A consultation to design your session
  • Use of studio props and outfits
  • One hour session in studio
  • Family portraits may be included
  • A reveal and ordering appointment

FAQ’S

When should I book my session?

As soon as you know you want to capture the milestone! My schedule fills quickly so please contact me about 3-4 weeks before your ideal session date.

How old should my baby be?

For first big smiles I recommend around 3 months. When our goal is capturing baby sitting alone unsupported with those chunky rolls, 6-7 months is ideal. Giggles and personality really shine around 9 months.

What should my baby wear?

My studio is packed full of tons of adorable dresses, rompers, and accessories. I have so many options for you to choose from and I’ll gladly pull some options from my collection that align with your preferences. You are absolutely welcome to bring a favorite outfit from home as well. I love soft textures and timeless pieces that draw attention to your baby’s personality.

How do I choose my images?

This is the best part! After your session we’ll sit down together and review your images. I’ll guide you through the process of choosing your favorites. From there we can decide on a beautiful wall art piece, create a custom album, or design a unique image collage. For your convenience, all printed images come with the matching digital files. There are so many gorgeous ways to display your images and I can’t wait to show them to you.
