A quarantine letter to my little cake smash clients during Covid-19:

Dear one year olds, I miss you.

I miss your curious personalities, boundless energy, and the sweet smiles you give when I make goofy sounds or play peek-a-boo.

I miss how you always take off crawling, walking, or running as soon as your mom puts you down.

I miss the way you always figure out how to climb out of or off of any props I use to contain you and try to keep you from getting away.

I miss the looks you give when you see that the whole cake is just for you… sometimes thrilled, sometimes curious, and sometimes hesitation.

I miss the mess of icing smeared on your face, in your hair, between your fingers, on your little toes, and all over my floor.

I miss the bubble baths… the splashing, the giggles, and how much you just love little rubber ducks.

I miss the creativity of putting together backdrop sets to highlight something you or your parents love and working with Snacky French to have a fabulous and delicious matching cake.

I cannot wait until I am able to open again so we can celebrate all the amazing reasons you are so special to your parents. As soon as I can, I’ll be here to capture these sweet memories ❤️

My cake smash photography studio is located in Round Rock, Texas and it is fully equipped with everything necessary for a customized session. I have been photographing little ones for over 11 years and have captured hundreds of precious babies. I always aim to provide my clients with a wonderful experience and gorgeous heirloom artwork for their home. Because my calendar fills quickly, it is ideal to book your session while your baby is around 10 months so we can properly plan. However I always do what I can to accommodate last minute bookings as well.
